Hi, I'm Eden of Eden's Little Bakery. I started this business, with my family's support in June 2020 during the first Lockdown. I baked Bourekas for our front garden party for VE Day, I offered some to my neighbours & everyone raved about them so much I decided to try and launch a bake-to-order business.
Within a few months we were serving hundreds of customers, running pop-up sessions at a local café,
fundraising for some of our local schools and
collaborating with Epsom and Ewell Food bank.
Our fresh pastry deliveries came as a welcome change to the usual take-out options and of course, who doesn't love fluffy, buttery pastries?!
Since my business started I've been lucky to enjoy A LOT of local support, so much so my parents have taken the reins - I'm still very much involved but have reduced my roll for other life commitments, in my heart I will always be part of our family business ;-)
Our dream has come true; we opened the Bakehouse on March 4th, the Mayor cut the ribbon and we experienced an overwhelming amount of local love. Since opening we have won Epsom & Ewell Business Awards for Best Customer Service '22 & Muddy Stilettoes '23 Award for Best Cafe in Surrey! We hope our Eden's Little Bakery community continues to grow and enjoy our pastries and specialty coffee.
What next? When the Bakehouse is running like clockwork we'll get to work on the next plan... and we have some BIG plans, watch this space!
